The Conference Venue

The conference will take place at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, located on the bank of River Danube and several campus buildings belong to the World Heritage.

The Location

Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is an economic, financial and cultural centre with two million inhabitants. The city is beautifully situated on both sides of River Danube and has a 2000-year history. There are ruins from the time of the Roman Empire as well as from the Middle Ages. However, it mainly reflects the atmosphere of the end of the 19th century, when the millennium of Hungary was celebrated. Many places of entertainment are available, in addition to places for peaceful relaxation. Several baths offer the pleasure of the waters of various medicinal thermal springs. The weather in June is pleasant, 24-28°C. Visit Budapest on the Web at www.budapestinfo.hu/en/index.html

Transportation

Budapest can easily be reached by plane (direct flight between Beijing and Budapest), train, car or hydrofoil. Minibuses run regularly from "Ferihegy" airport to major downtown hotels. Budapest has efficient public transport system (subway, tram and bus services). The conference venue can be reached easily by these services from all parts of the city.
